Video transcript:

Jason Fahrlander, EVP & COO, Community Health Network: When we evaluated a rehab joint venture partner, what we looked for at the time was an entity that was willing to take on the values that we have as an organization. Someone that honors the values and the commitment we have to our local communities.

Dr. Dave Kiley, Indianapolis President, Community Health Network: We wanted to find a partner that was also a collaborative and relationship-based – focused on putting patients first. We wanted a partner that wasn't a transactional partner. Somebody that was going to stand the length of time – 20, 30, 40 years.

Jason Fahrlander: We have found their ability to create high quality care at an economic model that really makes good sense for our system Â鶹Éçmadou been a win-win.

Dr. Eric Aitken, Medical Director, Community Rehabilitation Hospital North: The ability to use a lot of the tools the measures, things that they had implemented that were working well for their hospitals, and implement them in our hospital Â鶹Éçmadou been amazing. The ability to have more technology Â鶹Éçmadou helped us a lot. We've been able to obtain newer systems, including a robot – the exoskeleton – as well as an upper extremity robot. So, we've just had a lot of implementations of the strategies and techniques and tools that have made this hospital, you know, what it is today.

Annette Seabrook, CEO, Community Rehabilitation Hospital North: That's where I think the joint venture works really well. The resources and expertise in how to successfully manage and operate a rehab hospital Â鶹Éçmadou made it a lot more successful.

Jason Fahrlander: The rehab hospitals have outpaced what the best in the country are doing. They have an expertise that they bring that just is beyond the capabilities of what the traditional health system can do. They're just experts at the rehabilitation side of the healthcare Continuum.

Dr. Dave Kiley: There's no doubt I think it's been a significant advancement, not only for our community health network. I think most importantly for our patients and their families and for the communities on which we serve. I always leave the building feeling good that I know that we're making a significant difference in other people's lives.

We're improving their lives.
